Ensuring worm fertilizer is organic

To get purely organic worm fertilizer, don’t feed worms with plants raised with chemical fertilizers.

The essence of not feeding the worms on plants raised with inorganic fertilizers is to ensure that the crops produced are purely organic.

Feeding the worms on chemical fertilizers would result in non-compliance with the basic principles of organic farming, unless it cannot be avoided.

In such circumstances, documentation of all the stages of production and practices carried in each stage is vital, and should point that the worms used at a particular stage were fed on plants raised with chemical fertilizers.
